2020年のオリンピックを目前に東京の観光名所となった渋谷スクランブル交差点を訪れる人々。そこで撮影される画像は瞬く間に世界中へとシェアされていく。本来記録性の高さが写真の大きな特徴であったが、スマートフォンの台頭を機に写真はその瞬間を共有する為のツールとして我々の生活に入り込んでいる。
1度に3000人の往来があるというこのパブリックな交差点で、スマートフォンという至極プライベートなツールを掲げて映し出されるその瞬間のための光景を作品として記録することで、写真の記録性について再考する。

As the 2020 Tokyo Olympics are approaching, people visit the Shibuya scramble crossing, one of Tokyo's famous tourist attractions. Pictures shot on location are then shared with the world in an instant. Photographs which used to have a crucial archival quality, are now the tools we use to share moments at the tips of our smartphones, deeply integrated into our lives. At this public intersection where 3,000 persons come and go at a time, the series reconsider the archive-quality of photographs by recording the momentous landscapes projected through a very private tool called a smartphone.
