山の頂また中腹まで登り対面する山を約7秒間のスローシャッターで撮影した。我々が遠景で山を見たとき、枝先に揺れる葉々が木を構成し、木々が集まり森になって、それは実は山である。そのように我々は認知している。しかしスローシャッターで撮影されたその枝先の葉々は風に揺らめき、葉の形を認識させることなく色彩の情報として写し出されている。この時葉の形がない木々の集まりは果たして山なのだろうか。

Mountains are shot from the opposite summit or slope with a 7-second slow shutter. When we look at a mountain in the distance, leaves swaying at the tip of branches make up trees, that in turn shape a forest, which makes a mountain. This is the way we see. Yet, the branches' leaves taken with a slow shutter sway in the wind, blending into pure color information. Then is the gathering of trees without the shapes of leaves still really a mountain?
